2011 Humanitarian Award

Humanitarians are leaders who “Dare to make a difference.” They speak out in the face of apathy, show determination in the face of adversity, build bridges in the face of division, and advocate in the face of human suffering. The Humanitarian Award honors those past and present who recognize the human goodness in all of us and strive to create a culture where, not just some people, but all people are welcome at the table of freedom, democracy, justice and community.
